The International Reenactment Fair IRM is the first cross-epoch trade fair for living history, reenactment, archaeotechnology and experimental archeology in Germany.
This year the International Reenactment Fair IRM will once again take place in the RömerWelt at the caput limitis in Rheinbrohl.
A variety of replicas, reproductions and copies of archaeological finds and historical objects from the Stone Age to the end of the 19th century can be seen and some can also be purchased at more than two dozen stands in the open area, in the corridors and in the event room of the museum.
In addition to textiles and accessories for textile work, from plant-dyed yarn to hand-woven and hand-sewn garments based on historical models, the program will feature authentic pottery, glass beads and glass vessels, leather goods and all sorts of authentic curiosities.
In addition to the RömerTage in May, which is known nationwide as a seasonal highlight in the RömerWelt, the International Reenactment Fair IRM2025 offers an overview of the current “hardware and software” to represent more than 5,000 years of human history. In addition to the replicas presented at the exhibition stands throughout the day, there will once again be an attractive lecture program in which some exhibitors will present their focal points.
Event time: daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
