‘In his new piano cabaret ‘Beethoven Bonnensis’, Stephan Eisel describes Ludwig van Beethoven's time in Bonn. He lived and worked here for 22 years - longer than Mozart in Salzburg. How did the Beethovens come to Bonn, what pranks did the young Ludwig play, which girls did he make eyes at and what did he compose in Bonn? You can expect an entertaining account on 88 keys with lots of news you didn't know about our Ludwig.’

Stephan Eisel studied political science and musicology, was a speechwriter and deputy head of the chancellor's office for Helmut Kohl, a member of the Bundestag in Bonn and is chairman of "Citizens for Beethoven"
