Join us at the Willy Brandt Forum when it's #MuseenEntdecken!
We are celebrating International Museum Day, a day of action to celebrate the diversity of over 7100 museums across Germany. On International Museum Day, museums around the world draw attention to their role in society. As an important means of cultural exchange, they not only take responsibility for our cultural heritage, but also promote understanding, tolerance and diversity worldwide. With their innovative educational programs and diverse collections, they are unique places of learning that provide a space for social discourse and open up perspectives for the future.
As every year, we are taking part and invite all interested parties to take part in free guided tours of our exhibition. More detailed times will follow shortly!
The Unkel History Association also offers the opportunity to explore the historic prison tower on the Rhine and the former air raid shelter in the town hall.
