At the RIGOMAGVS Festival, visitors can look forward to two days of varied and exciting programmes focusing on life in the Roman fort of RIGOMAGVS, now part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Lower German Limes. Immerse yourself in Roman military and civilian life from the 1st to 4th centuries AD – brought to life by numerous authentic groups and individual performers.
Marvel at fascinating craftsmanship such as fine pottery, ornate glassware, Roman textiles, handmade leatherwork, detailed bone carvings and the production of historical oil lamps, and experience exciting gladiator fights – a highlight for young and old alike.
The programme is rounded off by information stands and hands-on activities for the whole family.
