Clemens August Ferdinand Maria Hyazinth of Bavaria (* 16 August 1700 in Brüsse; † 6 February 1761 at Philippsburg Castle in Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein) was Archbishop of Cologne as Clemens August I from 1723 to 1761 and thus simultaneously Elector of the Holy Roman Empire, sovereign of the associated archbishopric and the neighboring states of Vest Recklinghausen and the Duchy of Westphalia.
He was also Legatus natus of the Holy Apostolic See in Rome, Grand Master of the Teutonic Order, Prince-Bishop of Regensburg, Münster, Osnabrück, Paderborn and Hildesheim as well as holder of other ecclesiastical dignities. (Source Wikipedia)
