93rd Backfischfest Worms

Every year at the end of August, the Nibelung city of Worms invites visitors to a big festival on the Rhine. Young and old gather on the "Kisselswiese" to celebrate together and enjoy the special atmosphere at the festival grounds, in the Wonnegauer wine cellar, the Stiftskeller and the "Gaadewirtschaft".

It is the mixture of wine and folk festival that makes the Backfischfest so unmistakable. Modern and traditional rides, the aroma of sweets and hearty meals as well as the good wines from our local winegrowers create a unique atmosphere that attracts many guests from outside Worms as well as us locals.
