The ‘Night of 1000 Fires’ in 2023 was themed ‘Symphonious’ and thrilled the audience with well-known musical hits.

Thomas Fischer and his team from Beisel Pyrotechnik created a unique firework display that is unrivalled in Europe. Thousands of effects lit up the night sky above the world cultural heritage site. The thrilling finale from ‘Dance of the Vampires’ in particular created a fascinating sky spectacle and a goosebump-inducing atmosphere.

‘Experiencing Rhine in Flames on the Rhine against the impressive backdrop of our town is undoubtedly one of the special highlights that Oberwesel has to offer,’ enthuses town mayor Marius Stiehl.
