BONNER PERSONEN SCHIFFAHRT [BPS]

As a regional company, BPS has always endeavoured to offer excursion connections from Bonn to the destinations of Königswinter, Bad Honnef, Unkel, Remagen and Linz.
These stations are served several times a day according to a fixed timetable. This gives passengers the opportunity to organise their day as they wish.

The day trips to the Moselle and the Loreley on certain days of the week have been an integral part of the timetable since the 1950s and are particularly popular. The evening cruise programme has developed from the romantic moonlight cruises around the island of Nonnenwerth to the dance parties on the Rhine river.

Ending the day with a glass of wine, the rhythms of the on-board band and the romantic silhouette of the Rhine landscape is an experience that is not for everyone. The BPS fleet's cruise programme is rounded off with special trips for clubs, societies and schools to and from all Rhine and Moselle stations on the routes between Duisburg, Mainz and Cochem. This segment is becoming increasingly important.

Nowadays, the BPS is placing greater emphasis on boat trips with a programme. The offer ranges from firework cruises to city tours with a guided tour, children's cruises with a magician, senior citizens' cruises with entertainment, evening cruises with live music and programme and theme cruises (e.g. “Celebrate like in Bavaria”, “Songs of Yesterday” or “Oldie Nights”). The extremely efficient on-board catering services cater for guests according to their individual wishes: from a simple plate meal to a gala dinner or gala buffet. Service and customer satisfaction are our top priority.
